Four drivers, one promise: no surprises
We are a small Balinese team in Kuta driving visitors around the island we grew up on. You book directly with us, you meet the same faces every day of your trip, and the price we agree on WhatsApp is the price you pay at the end.
Our mission
Make hiring a driver in Bali the easy part of your holiday
Adi started driving tourists in 2010 with a borrowed Avanza and a phrasebook. The business that grew out of it was built from one observation repeated by guest after guest: what people wanted was not a cheaper car, it was a driver who told them the truth.
The truth that Kelingking is a hard climb in the heat. That five waterfalls in a day is four too many. That the cheap sunset tour will spend 40 minutes at a shop selling silver nobody asked to see. We would rather talk a guest out of a bad plan and keep them for their whole holiday than sell them a day they regret.
Eleven years later we are four drivers and six cars, still answering our own WhatsApp messages, still working without deposits or platform commission — and about 40% of our bookings come from guests who were driven by us before, or were told to call us by someone who was.
What you get, every time
The standards we hold ourselves to
-
English & Japanese speaking
Your driver explains every stop clearly — 日本語対応 available on request when you book.
-
Honest, fixed pricing
One agreed price by WhatsApp. No meter, no detours to commission shops, no surprise fees.
-
Courteous, licensed drivers
Local Balinese drivers with tourist transport permits, 10+ years on the island’s roads.
-
Cold, clean, insured cars

-
Passenger insurance
Every car carries passenger accident cover, and our activity partners for rafting, ATV and trekking carry their own operator insurance.
-
Serviced on schedule
Cars are serviced every 5,000 km, air-conditioning is checked monthly and any vehicle over six years old is retired from tour work.
-
Direct, commission-free
You book us directly, so there is no platform fee, no mark-up and no incentive for us to route you through souvenir shops.

“Adi was waiting at the airport with a sign at 1 am after our flight was delayed three hours, and did not charge a rupiah extra. Over the next week he drove us to Nusa Penida, Ubud and Batur. Never once pushed us into a shop.”
-
“日本語が話せるドライバーさんにお願いして本当に良かったです。両親も一緒でしたが、階段の少ないルートを考えてくれて、とても親切でした。”
-
“We asked three drivers for a Mount Batur price. Adi was the only one who explained exactly what was included and told us honestly that the jeep would suit my mother better than the trek. He was right.”
Good to know
About us — frequently asked questions
Who we are, how we work and what we will and will not do on your trip.
Who will actually be my driver?
One of the four drivers on this page, and we tell you his name on WhatsApp before your trip. For multi-day charters you keep the same driver and car throughout, so you are not re-explaining your plans every morning.
Are you a company or an individual driver?
We are a small family-run team based in Kuta — four drivers and six cars, run by Adi. Small enough that the person answering your WhatsApp is the person who will drive you, big enough to cover a 19-seat group or send a replacement car within the hour if something breaks.
Why do you emphasise English and Japanese so much?
Because language is the difference between a taxi ride and a tour. Our guests come mostly from Australia, the UK, Singapore and Japan, and being able to explain a temple ritual, negotiate a market price for you or warn you honestly that a trek is too hard is the actual service you are paying for.
What does "honest driver" mean in practice?
Three concrete things. We quote one price and never change it at the end of the day. We do not take you to shops that pay us commission. And when a plan is a bad idea — five waterfalls in a day, both sides of Nusa Penida in one trip — we say so before you book rather than after.
Can you plan our whole Bali itinerary for us?
Yes, at no extra cost. Send us your hotel bookings, arrival and departure times and the places you want to see, and we will put together a day-by-day plan that accounts for driving distances and traffic. Most guests end up doing less than they first planned and enjoying it more.
Do you drive to other islands, like the Gilis or Lombok?
We drive you to the harbours — Sanur, Padang Bai and Serangan — and can store luggage or collect you from the return boat. On Nusa Penida we work with a trusted local driver and car for our day tours. We do not currently operate our own vehicles on Lombok or the Gilis.
How do you handle guests with limited mobility?
Honestly and in advance. Tell us about knees, hips, wheelchairs or heart conditions when you enquire, and we will plan a route of viewpoints and easy-access sites and tell you plainly which stops to skip. The Innova and Hiace both have an easy step-in height, and drivers will always help you in and out.
Do you take single travellers, or is there a minimum group size?
Solo travellers are very welcome, and the charter price is the same whether there is one of you or six — which does make our day tours better value for couples and families. For boat-based tours with a per-person fee, such as Nusa Penida, there is usually a two-person minimum.
How do I book, and do I have to pay a deposit?
Send a WhatsApp message to +62 852 3773 9888 with your date, hotel or villa area, number of passengers and the tour you want. You get a fixed quote back, usually within 15 minutes. No deposit and no credit card are needed — you pay the driver in cash or by bank transfer on the day of the trip.
Do your drivers really speak English and Japanese?
Yes. Every driver speaks conversational English, and we have drivers who speak Japanese (日本語対応). Japanese-speaking drivers are a smaller team, so please mention it when you book so we can reserve the right person for your date.
Is hotel or villa pickup included, and which areas do you cover?
Pickup and drop-off are included from Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Canggu, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Sanur, Denpasar and Ubud. Pickups from Uluwatu, Amed, Candidasa, Lovina or Munduk are possible with a small surcharge for the extra distance — just ask when you book.
What happens if it rains or my flight is delayed?
Bali rain usually passes within an hour, so we simply reorder the stops and wait it out somewhere dry rather than cancel. For airport pickups we track your flight number and wait free of charge if you land late. Cancelling for genuine bad weather or a missed flight carries no fee.
Still have a question?
Ask us anything about our drivers and how we work. Replies on WhatsApp within 15 minutes, day or night.
